Society and Culture: Venezuela and Some English Speaking Countries of the World: England and Canada

Worldwide and in everywhere Traditions and Customs of the countries in the world are based on three specific features such as: History, Political and Geography, but it is actually important to mention that each country of the world is characterized by its own traditions, customs and culture, besides the way how people lives in a specific area of its  homeland. In this summary, you are going to know some relevant aspects that determine the systems of the society about some natives of the nation: England, Canada and Venezuela for instance their social habits, music, festivities, typical food and drinks among others that identify each one of them as a special, particular or exceptional country as well their way to be and live taking into account its specific culture, it means its way of life daily and ever.

                  

England is a very beautiful nation its capital city is London, on the other hand Ottawa is the Capital city of the Canada country which is a very interesting nation state according to its culture and society; Venezuela’  s capital city is Caracas that is the busiest one of the nation and this city is called metropolitan because there are other states surrounding it, and one of them is Miranda State, this state has industries, business building, malls  the highest level of population  by the way, London is a metropolitan city too. England belongs to the United Kingdom which is an island located in Europe, the language spoken is English as well as Canada, the language and culture spread happened by colonization. Also England is known to be the land of the knights and well educated ladies; some of the most known traditions of England are the famous tea break at five o'clock every day where most of the country stops to have the tea break. The England’s traditional music is call The English Folk which deals with the Morris Dance and Mummers Play and it is usually held in rural places of the English country. Talking about literature in the country, it is written in Old English (anglo-saxon)  William Shakespeare considered as the English National Poet, he  is the most famous Angloxason literature writer of course he is already dead but his works are still read too much for example: “Hamlet”, “Othello”, “Romeo and Juliet” are some of his great histories written in the Victorian era, besides Jane Austen is a very good English writer who also achieves some awards and one of her literary work the great novel:
“Sense and Sensibility”.

On the other hand Caracas is a very crowded city where people are friendly, sociable and funny. The most popular music in Venezuela all across the country is named “Folklore” it deals with a couple dancing or a single person dress up with a specific and typical clothing and also almost of them wear some typical footwear called: “Alpargatas”. The most popular singer of Venezuelan traditional music is Simon Diaz or Known as “el Tio Simon” by the Venezuelan country. The representative music instruments of Venezuela town are: “Cuatro, Maracas, y Arpa”. It is really important to mention that Romulo Gallegos, who is born in 1984, he is the most famous literature writer in Venezuela although he is already dead so some of his works are: “Dona Barbara” and “Canta Claro” who wins a lot of awards because of them in that age.

Canadian poets such as: Canada is a bilingual nation so its literature is divided into French and English language literature so some of the famous poets of Canada are named: Roberson Davies, who wrote Fifth Business; Michael Ondaatje who wins many awards and he is the first winner of the Man Booker Prize for The English Patient; Margaret Atwood wins the Man in 2000 for The Blind Assassin, on the other hand in 2002 Yann Martel wins it for Life of Pi besides Carol Shield’s  The  Stone Dairies win several awards one of them “Governor General Awards”. Theaters in Canada are very big even in Ottawa there are two (2) major theaters of the country. Canada’s music is related with the great multi-cultural influences that has shaped with the colonization aboriginal French and British. A very celebrated typical dancing in Canada is the Step Dance.

Each country in the world has particular types of building that identify its culture and history in a very specific place of the nations; they always deal with the old settlers who lived there earlier. Canada has a very huge architecture with modern house and building, moreover in Toronto city there are many skyscrapers also the CNT the tallest one in the country as well, England posses a very interesting bridges in the city of London adding the English buildings are fantastic for instance the Royal Castle and The Royal Court of Justice with the famous tower which has a very big clock on it that identifies the city itself, on the other hand Caracas is a very big city of Venezuela which has been characterized by interesting, tall and contemporary buildings, In Caracas there is an important and the biggest theater of the nation that is called “Teresa Carreno Theater”,  the most famous places located in Caracas city  at the university named: UCV ( in Spanish) “Universidad Central de Venezuela” that is, on one hand  “Aula Magna”, on the other hand, the Towers which are called “ Las Torres del Silencio”.

Talking about Music of the country in this case: England, Canada and Venezuela, most of the people around the world like to listen to music so in the countries there are many famous singers who have born in the countries before named for instance: in England there is a very deep remembrance of some famous bands and of course Who can forget them?, Impossible; they are the unforgettable  stars of the 60’s The Beatles and Bee Gees, also Elton John is an English singer and one of the most important one of the world, one of his very beautiful single is: “Good Bye” dedicated to the Great Diane Princess.   Moreover Celine Dion is a Canadian singer and she is really famous because of her single “My Heart will go on” this is a beautiful song interpreted by her and heard a lot for everyone at the movies watching the film called: Titanic. Therefore a really famous singer on the net is Justin Bieber who is a Canadian singer, he becomes a famous star   because of his Record “My World 2.0”, besides there are other important Canadian artist such as: Nelly Furtado, Sting, etc. In Venezuela there are many important and famous singers such as: Chino and Nacho, they are reggaton singers who have won a Grammy’s Awards, the biggest one of the music; “Poeta”: one of their best single alternatively, Simon Diaz is the most important singer of the traditional music of the country called in Spanish: “Musica Llanera” who has won the Great Awards Grammy’s too.

Social Habits: in Canada people still follow etiquette for instance when you visit someone’s house you always remove your footwear in order to keep cleaned the floor besides it is not polite visit someone’s house without calling or making an appointment, Canadian don’t like to wait, they are patient, responsible and when they have a conversation produce feedback is really important; on the contrary it is not good because it seems to be like if the listener is not interested. England is known to be the land of the knights and well educated ladies and the country always stops for taking the named Tea Break at five o’clock every day when people is used to take it as a whole, what is more Venezuela is known because Venezuelan are cheerful, highly sociable, funny and friendly people, also they like to drink and going to the party, listening to music.  Family is the traditional one in the Society of these countries Canada, Venezuela and England first able in Canada is legal the marriages between a man and a woman so children are the most important elements in a civilization, it is totally illegal having children if couples don’t have money to support their family (it is the principal reason of divorces in these countries), these facts happen in Venezuela nation on the contrary, in the English country people is aware to have no more than three children per family while in Venezuelan town is not control at all so it can be a reason for getting divorces in the country; adding that divorce rates in the countries more and more.   In England the Royal Family is very famous the Elizabeth II’s family and it belongs to Monarch; it means the Governor of the some English Speaking Countries.

Typical Food of the countries around the world has very particular features such as: tasty, color, ingredients that identify each place, culture and population’s likes in the world, even they are related overall ingredients: vegetables; with the seasons of the year, also with the economy of the countries, their production and the harvest most popular given in a very specific place depending on climates and geography. Canada is characterized by being a nation with a high diversity of culture due to the millions of immigrants who have arrived there in the last years and ever, on the other hand Venezuela has a wide of variety of culture and traditions yet each city of the country has its own and particular kind of traditions, customs and food for instance in western of the nation people is used to eat coat, following the population of the eastern loves eating fish products: shrimp, crab, mussel, octopus, lamb and so on,  besides to the northern of the country is actually common to have fish, “arepa”(corn flour), of course beers cannot lack because Venezuelan as well as Canadian love drinking beers, it belongs to their culture. England’s typical food are really difficult to identify them because of is belongs to The United Kingdom so it means they are based on almost the same typical food in England, Scotland and Welsh. An English person generally likes eating beef, chicken, pork with potatoes and having sandwich, fish and chips and pies like the Cornish pasty. In the United Kingdom some of the main dishes have strange names such as: Bubble & Square and Toa-in-the-Hole and the most important drink in the afternoon is the Tea, on one hand some Canadian dishes and the most popular are: The Poutine, Fiddleheads, Shellfish “a la Cazuela” and the most popular syrup: “Maple syrup” on the other hand, in Venezuela the most popular dish eaten is named “Pabellon Criollo” which is made with rise, black peas, meat and bananas.

Sports, each country likes practicing many kinds of sports, they are actually borrowed from the native people and thus the early settlers learn how to play them. Canada, England and Venezuela have their own official sports; it means the sports that identify each country and their population as a fan, moreover   the only one that truly unites the country is “Beers” which are drinks or typical drinks that persons are used to eat when they have a good time in a party or even in a  sport game, starting Canada’s official sports are two: Hockey on Ice (the official Canadian sport in the winter) and The Lacrosse ( the official Canadian sport in the summer). England’s official sport is Football (soccer) is the most popular sport in the country on the contrary Venezuela’s official sport is Baseball is the most popular one in the country and Venezuelan enjoys watching this kind of sport they really like it.

Festivities in Venezuela, Canada and England Chritsmat is the most popular festivity of these countries, it is celebrated in canada and england on December 25th on the contrary, in Venezuela  is always held on december 24th, in this holyday people likes opening presents so that this is the biggest shopping day of the year and having dinner with their family and friends sharing foods, gifts is the key of the celebration. In addition each country has its own festivities so check it out some of them: Canada's festivities: Thanksgiving day, Halloween, Carnival in Quebec, Victoria Queen's day, Potluck Dinner, Night lights and some others;  some England's fetivities are: Thanksgining's Day, St. Valentine's Day, April Fools Day, Boxing Day, Easter  ; Venezuela's Festivities: Carnival, Holyweek, Simon Bolivar's day on July 24th  among  some others.

Related to Religions,  the most popular religion is  Roman Catholic in these countries such as : Canada, England and Venezuela but it is actually important taking into account that some immigrants who have arrived there have different kinds of beliefs which have increased them in  some others  places of these nations.
